TEACHINGS

Klitzner delights in the discovery of what lies beneath the surface, hidden from view, through processes both natural and induced by humankind. These notions of engaging with place and place-making are a thread, linking and weaving through various moments of interaction and learning.

The teaching agenda is to encourage inquisitiveness and enquiry, while facilitating each individual student’s realisation of their strengths and intrinsic abilities embedded in an understanding of both natural and manmade environmental processes. The outcome is a development of their skills and their abilities to interrogate and reimagine the worlds they encounter. The strategies applied in the design enquiry utilise a variety of non-digital explorative techniques with an emphasis on discovering the possibilities in chance.
